Playstyle

Abysses are the keepers of cosmic balance, the Wardens of Order and Chaos. One hand offers peace, the other bears wrath.

Abyss is a traditional support with some offensive and defensive capabilities, trading their own defense for immense supportive tools, and as a result Abyss is a high priority and easy target to dispatch if caught out alone.

Ability Name Information
Sha [PASSIVE] Abyss generates 1 of a resource called Sha by landing abilities and the fourth attack of their attack combo. Abyss can have a maximum of 5 Sha
Chi [PASSIVE] Abyss gets progress towards Chi by transmuting Sha in Karmic Stance. Chi is then used to empower their next ability. Each ability gains extra strength with more Chi added, as follows:
  • Z - Font of Haste: Grants Abyss a 8%/16%/24%/32%/40% Movespeed buff upon using an abillity.
  • X - Font of Essence: Reduces the mana cost of the next ability used by 20%/40%/60%/80%/100%.
  • C - Font of Power: Increases the damage of the next ability used (Z,X,C,V) by 20%/40%/60%/80%/100%.
  • V - Font of Tranquility: Heals Abyss by 6%/12%/18%/24%/30% of their missing health upon using an ability.
Karmic Stance Abyss summons the power locked within their scroll and enters a meditative stance, slowing themselves but taking on some useful effects. In this stance, Abyss will funnel any Sha that has been stored as a pulsing healing wave to nearby allies and a damaging wave to enemies, generating Chi in the process.

Abyss may use this ability without any Sha present, but the effect is greatly reduced and Chi is not generated. The number of powerful waves are based on how much Sha Abyss has. Abyss will convert 1 of their current Sha to Chi for each wave released. Additionally, Abyss may choose their Runes while in Karmic Stance with the Z, X, C, and V keys.

Arcane Orb Abyss forms an orb of Chi and Sha energies in their palms, from which they are able to choose between two moves to perform:
  • Z+LMB: Clicking will cause Abyss to launch the orb at the direction of the cursor. The orb travels at a fast rate and will detonate upon hitting any player or solid surface, creating an explosion that simultaneously heals nearby allies and harms nearby foes, both by a moderate amount. In addition, the orb will also buff the damage of affected allies for a short duration.
  • Z+Z: Using the ability again will cause Abyss to forcefully slam the orb into the ground instead, causing the orb to explode in the same manner, but with a significantly increased explosion radius, greater healing amount to allies, and greater knockback to foes. However, the damage buff that the orbs provides also becomes weaker.
Ring Of Harmony Abyss kneels down and creates a large vortex of spiritual energy at their feet. Dealing a small portion of damage on cast (for the purpose of gaining Sha, this ability can generate a maximum of 1 Sha regardless of enemies affected). While within this vortex, Abyss' combo attacks deal increased knockback and will instead knock foes out from the vortex's center. Additionally, allies who are also within the vortex with Abyss will gain a defense buff every time Abyss successfully generates Sha.
Chakra Strike Abyss lets loose a powerful strike that lowers the enemy’s Defense while temporarily stopping their resource regeneration and knocking them backwards.
Retribution Abyss torpedoes forward in a cyclone of Chi or Sha, applying effects to anyone they pass through. Abyss may store up to 3 dashes at a time, while constantly generating more. Abyss' dashes alternate between the two opposing forces.
  • Chi dashes generate barrier and cleanse allies of any debuffs.
  • Sha dashes damage and slow enemies.
