After the document spent (probably) a good year of being dormant, it is back! Featuring 19 class concepts, 1 boss concept, 1 team boss concept, and update logs at the bottom to keep you posted, this document is a team effort between some friends and I. Feel free to favorite the link and check up on it every now and then. New ideas will be added over time.
Please Note: Most of the ideas made were from a year or so ago back when Strife! [Alpha] was in its later updates (I hope that time frame is accurate because I actually don't know). The format for them may need to be revamped as well as some skills being reworded to fit a more precise explanation. If reading lots of text isn't your thing, this probably isn't for you.

So this is a reall rough idea that I recently had so uhm yeah.
Invoker: Spell book type Mage. Invoker weilds ancient magic powers coming from their magic book Magica. An Invoker is able to harness magic via different pages with their own unique symbols on each. Auto attacks consit of meelee ranged magic bursts just like small magic explosions and can also go ranged as their passive.
Passive: Invoker can switch from meelee to ranged, alowing them to blast magic beams at targets while also reducing movement.
Z: Invoker creates three magic beams that shoot one at a time at a target for long ranged attacks. Beams have a chance to reduce movement speed and attack.
X: Invoker creats a large feild of magic that creates a large burst of aoe after 2 seconds of charging. This ability does no debuffs but does buff Invokers attack.
C: Invoker sends down magic from the sky that goes long ranged at targets (maximum of 4 magic burst falling down) This ability reduce defense when hit.
V: Invoker charges up and long ranged giant beam that blasts at targets making continuos damage when hit dealing up to 20-25 dmg if the beam completely hits the target. This ability has a chance to stun the target went hit for too long as it brings the stun bar up quickly

Role: Hexer
Weapon: Halberd
Description: Cthulu the one who was inprisoned in R'yleh. He has many abilitys like for example. To manipulate people, and curse people. The weapon was crafted in R'yleh. It is a hexer therefore Cthulhu feeds off of peoples strengths. Unfortunatly, Cthulhu does not start out as the most strongest in the start of the game, but it gets stronger by the abilitys and the people Cthulhu kills., but it has a weakness. It does not excel in range. Therefore, just dont be near it if you dont wanna be killled. Cthuhlu also has a bit of a support power too.
Attack Combo:
- Swing Left
- Swing Right
- Swing Down
(Halberd starts glowing)
- Projectile of Magic
(Per Hit: 63-74 Damage)
(Passive) When Cthulhu uses to much mana. He will go into a more powerful state. This state causes his strengths to buff by 35%, but looses 275 health.
(E) Manipulation:
Cthulhu picks someone to Manipulatiate . They hurt themselves and Cthulu sucks out the health they have lost, and heals himself.
Cost: 10 Mana Damage: 60-70 Cooldown: 30 Seconds
(Z) : Star Spawning
Cthulhu summons stars that hit that player and then 20% of their speed and 15% and the star comes back to give the buffs that were stolen.
Cost: 15 Mana Damage: 95-110 damage Cooldown: 35
(X) Madness Inducement
Cthulhu summons a dark orb of dark magic and anyone who's near it will be damaged slowly for 8 seconds. The orb moves while Cthulu walks. This also make players go mad and their screen goes all crazy. This will take 25% lifesteal every 1.5 seconds.
Cost: 25 Mana Damage: 60-75 Damage each 2 seconds Cooldown: 45
(C) Shield of Dark Magic
Cthulhu summons a shield all around . Whoever steps into the shield . Thier defense will be lowered and Cthulhu's defense rises.
Cost: 30 mana Damage: 100-115 Cooldown: 45
(V) Call Of Cthulhu
Cthulhu summons a giant black portal. A bigger version of Cthulhu rises up and Manipulitates everyone to stay still. He smashes the ground and lets out green cracks onto the ground. The enemys trapped are losing damge slowly. Cthulhu is lifestealing 25% health lost. Then the portal shrinks and he goes away. (If Cthulhu has teammates then they get health too.)
Cost: 40 Mana Damage: 80 per 2 seconds Last: 15 seconds Cooldown: 70
Emissionary is a rogue ninja that holds a lightsaber like Darth Maul from Star Wars. I'm not good at making it fancy...
Melee: Spin slashes the opponent two times and then spins then kicks
Z: Deciplinary Meditation - Heals, and gains walk speed
X: Amplification - Throws a flat beam that when it hits someone, it staggers them and lowers their defense
C: Compression - Gains defense and a cool neon aura, also gains damage
V: Seismic Saber - Stops and does a cool spinning animation and forms a tornado with lightning effects and it makes the sky gray cloudy with rain and thunder sounds, whenever someone goes into the tornado, it sucks them in like a black hole them launches them far and stuns them, the tornado and cloudy sky lasts for 30 seconds, btw the tornado follows the nearest person
If there's one thing I remember about strife! all those years ago was the fast paced combat. And after playing Devil May Cry 5 and seeing how amazing character action combat can be done got me thinking, what if strife! had a charcter that acted similar to Nero in DMC5?
Now how would he work? Well Nero revolves around his 2 super unique, super cool weapons, Red Queen (A motorcyle sword that relies on an ability where if timed after an attack, the next attack is buffed), and Blue Rose (A revolver that relies on explosive charge shots to send enemies flying). This charcter would be an easy to pick up, hard to master type of charcter that has simple moves on their own, but its the combos that really make him fun to play.
To be completely honest, I don't even know if strife! would be a game to want a DMC type of charcter, but hey suggestions are here for a reason.
I don't have a name for it, I've never been good with names.

Passive/ Character will have 50% increased movement speed when under 45% health or when allies nearby are lower than 30% health
Ability 1/ Character will cast a wall and push it forward slowing enemies and damaging them and speeding up allies that collide with the wall
Ability 2/ Character will create an aura around them that will rapidly gain allies and self's health and if enemies enter the aura, it will slowly drain their health and increase the speed of giving allies health and not your own
Ability 3/ (activate) Character will have a sphere of light above them the whole game that will deal minor damage to enemies nearby.(if activated again) Character will smash the sphere on the ground creating an area where 10% of allies attacks are converted to true damage and incread the characters movement speed by 7% (if activated again) the area on the ground will turn into a shpere again and fly above the character
Ability 4/ Character will create a wall infront of them and dash forward with the wall infront of them dealing massive damage and can dash once more dealing half of the damage unless the wall collides with a diffrent person, any allies that collie with the dash increase their attack speed and heal them for 7% of their missing health

I remember when playing this game, there were many terms I picked up by other players and also the community. The only word I can remember from the top of my head was "vulture". That term itself gave me a giggle for its meaning. What terms do you guys remember?
(Fighter) Class: Scorcher
Subclass: Mage
Weapon Name: I.G.N.I.S ([I]ncomplete [G]enerator of [N]ano-[I]nertia gauntlet[S])
Description: Scorcher, an experiment by rebelion of the permafrost in an attempt of defeat Neflhelm with the use of fire, combined with science and Manotech's scraps. An incomplete(in lore terms) Fighter with an ability to to use scorching hot flames and condense and compress them using a superior variant of inertia, Nano Inertia. he uses I.G.N.I.S, an incomplete yet powerful gauntlets that can create Nano-Inertia that would explode when overused. he specializes in fighting people in a distance as well as fighting them upclose and personal.
Posture: When idle, he tries of observe his gauntlet covered hands with great care with robot like movement. when walking, his way of walking is usually, mechanical, as if his feet is restricted and stiff.
Standard Attack Combo: 4 click attack type. Scorcher punches hard with his left and flames emit out of his fists and disappear briefly due to the lack of fuel, for the second attack, jumps forward slightly and TD Raized the enemy, with the third attack followed up with a brazilian kill and a mean right hook covered in flames for a forth attack.
[NEW BAR/NEW GUI] Over Heat - when he isnt attacking, overheat will stack up, and once its full it'll damage the user due to the heat. You can expend/empty it by attacking or using a skill.This passive also increase after burn and skill damage.
[PASSIVE] After Burn - Normal attack induce fireburn or after burn, damaging and burning the enemy over time and slowing them slightly.
[E] Shutdown - His body goes limp, and the lights in his bright eyes flicker. shutdown causes him to have lowered defense with no movement but inreturn, heals him 100 per second and slowly empties his Over Heat Bar. any sort of attacks wake him up with distress.
[Z] Fire Fight - He points his finger forwards and shoots a small fire compressed laser that explodes on player impact, causing after burn and damage mixed in with an increase of stun. drains 30 mana away from the player.
[X] Compression - Scorcher presses his hands together in an attempt to super compress a ball of fire, the Overheat rises and defense as you use this skill but in return, you get strong but temporary buffs in attack and movement speed, you need to hold down the button to use it.
[C] (Skill Name) - Remember, when you make the name for skills, make sure they aren’t repetitive and have a bit of variety in names. (Shadow strike, shadow bomb, shadow storm, and shadow blast for a skill set is really bad). Remember to have variety. The C skill is either the second strongest skill or on par with either the V or the X skill.
[V] (Ultimate Skill Name) - The [V] skill is the generally the strongest skill for a class, inflicting a lot of damage and powerful effects while using a lot of mana and having a long cooldown. Because of this, the [V] skill has been appropriately named the ultimate skill. Since this skill is powerful and is iconic to the class, make sure each ultimate is unique from the others ones. Also make sure it’s exciting!
This game literally made up my childhood as a whole, I still enjoy learning Tempus the more I die there. Anyways, what's your experience with this game and how the hecc did you come across it?
